Swivel Chair has a plan to take you on a ride to rejuvenate the jaded teen inside us all.

At it’s core, Swivel Chair begins with great songs. This quartet of musicians combines the top-notch songwriting, melodic vocals and guitar pop of Evan Getz with the tight, soulful harmonies, rhythm guitar, harmonica and flute of Lizzie Peress.

 It’s the Jayhawks meet the Cranberries infused with a splash of The Who. It all comes together with the solid driving rhythm section of Bassist Doyle Russell and drummer Rich McGrann.

Swivel Chair has the remarkable ability to create music which will have longevity without pretense. Performing either as quartet or an acoustic duo, the band has a way of healing the spirit by singing from their hearts and touching into your souls.

The group is at a pivotal point in their growth and is definitely headed in the right direction. Take in a show or take a CD for a spin and you are guaranteed to be knocked off your seat.
